There's almost no doubt that Macross is the greatest anime series ever. When I first saw the series back in the 80's I fell totally in love with Misa. At that point Misa was probably the most well flushed out strongest female character ever probably in anime, and practically any media. When I saw her in her space suit I was lost. Over the years I collected all the Misa stuff I could find, but as far as I know noone ever put a kit of her out in her series spacesuit(except the litttle matchbox type action figure) which really has irked me.
This pose is based on the scene when the hero characters are trapped inside the Zentradi ship and Misa is dodging a flying gun pod, with some modifications and hopefully improovements.
This is the first figure I used wax with, it's very bumpy and far from perfect, but I spent a lot of time on it and got the anatomy pretty good I think. People seemed to like it, it sold pretty fast.
